The larger balance of the investing community and hedge funds are struggling with overly complicated strategies, a higher cost of capital, higher investor expectations and a higher risk-free rate. As both a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and experienced trader I believe that, all else equal, simpler is better. That said, my process (MOTR) maximizes profitability with limited inputs and complications. In short, it is efficient and effective.

I do believe we will see some of the bleeding stop momentarily with counter trend rally upside potential to the 5700/5800 range. That said, my overall view has not changed. We are topping, not continuing higher, with a remaining downside target of 5000 likely.
About Anthony
Anthony Esposito is the Founder and CEO of Island Capital. He kicked off his Wall Street journey in 1996 right on the Floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Over a span of 17 years at the NYSE, Anthony served as a sales trader and Floor Broker, working with large institutions, smaller NYSE Member firms, and managing his own independent trading book. Following his time at the NYSE, he transitioned to the buy side as a Trader/Analyst for one of the largest single-family offices in the U.S. At this multi-billion dollar fund, he played dual roles as both a trader and a strategist, heavily involved in managing diverse portfolios across all asset classes.
